It's been a while so hold on to your seats ....I've been jet setting the last couple weeks to really exotic places... Bakersfield and Tempe. Let just say I love Jet Blue. Roomie seats, TVs, snacks, the whole can of soda. The small things do make a difference. Unfortunately Jet Blue doesn't fly SLC to PHX...so it's back to Southwest...which is a definite down grade. My running total of trips since May is...5...shew buddy!
I went to BK to help mom watch Beth's boys while she was off attempting single life, with her sisters in Tucson. A much deserved vaca for Beth. I had a great time with the boys, we swam, we jumped, we built a fort...(grandma is a little against fort building but she survived) The boys did great. Which is no doubt due to the great parent Beth is. She does a great job.
I just couldn't get enough of BK cause I was back again the next weekend for the Blessing of Caylee. So cute! What a wonderful opportunity Brad and Reiko have been given.
Monday after work I flew to AZ to interview with the IS Department at ASU. The plan was to stay at the house that Mom found for Kelli and I to rent (thanks Mom) so I arrive and the light are on...there is random stuff everywhere, so I wasn't sure I was at the right house, so I called Mom, while I was on the phone with her this creepy guy came out...I guess he is the property manager and was redoing the shower, he didn't think we would be there till the 6th. He said I could come in and check it out...okay let's think about this for a second...it's dark, I am alone, he is creepy, the house is empty...hmmmm...ya negative...I don't need to go in nor do I want to. Anywho mom saved me and made a reservation at the La Quinta for me. I went to my interview on Tuesday and flew back that night. Where the TSA in Phoenix stole my money out of my wallet, which was in my purse, inside my bag. Oh don't worry their message says that if they find a match to my request they'll give me a call...I bet they are right on that. I sure they'll find a match when they check their pocket. Jerks!
Good news!
They called yesterday and I got the job! Wahoo! I start July 7th. I am super excited. And am really grateful I do not have to interview or apply for any more jobs. Yippee!
I fly out Friday night again to meet Kelli at our new homestead to help her move in. She starts her job at Bloom on Monday.
