I did it!

I rode my bike to work! It was nice. I really enjoyed the outside time. I do however need to get a backpack, the side satchel was throwing off my balance when I tried to stand/pedal up the ginormous hill. I should probably get a helmet too. Teehee!

There she sits amongst her friends.

She really needs a name...hmmm...

Adventures in the Sun!

So I had this great idea for Kelli and I to ride our bikes to Tempe Marketplace to the movies. It's only 3 miles or so from our house with sidewalks the entire way. Kelli agreed. It was actually really fun! I think I am going to ride my bike to work tomorrow...we'll see.

Closest parking ever!

Later, we helped Jared set up for a presentation at the church. Yikes for the scary, tall, and wobbly ladder.

Yay! For Fun!

My mom, Mickey (she love's it when I call her by her first name;)(teehee!) came to visit. We had a good time. We went out pricing potential finishes for my potential condo. It was fun!
Photo of potential condo living space and later referenced back doors. She needs some work...but if it's right...she'll be all mine;)

On one of our adventure I spotted this little beauty from the backside of the street. So I had to go find it! OH MY GOODNESS!

Who does that to their yard. Priceless! Self expression at its worst/best?

Later in the week, Kelli, mom, and I participated in a little B & E. Yep! Breaking and entering! Luckily no one was arrested! The condo I am trying to buy had the back door open, so we decided to hope the backfence/patio since it was locked and check things out some more. I had the stool and was suppose to be the one to jump, sadly, I couldn't stop laughing long enough to hoist myself over the railing, so Kelli did, all the while Mom was the front yard lookout! Thankfully, Kelli has great B & E skills so we were able to get in. Too fun! Life should have more experiences like this! Sigh!

My life in Tripsy Land

It's happened again...I swear I do not know what is wrong with me. It's been a while sense I've shared one of my tragically embarassing moments. This one isn't too bad, but does hold a spot on the scale.
Okay, so this Sunday, I am running a little late for church so Kelli heads over on her own. I tell her to save me a seat. When I get to the building Kelli is standing outside. She was waiting for her friend from work who was late, I asked if she had put her stuff down inside, she says, "No, I didn't think of that."

Not a problem, so I stand at the back of the chapel surveying for a spot, there are a couple open spaces towards the back and middle, but not a spot that will hold 3 people. So up front to the 2nd row I go. Now the meeting has already started, opening hymn is being sung, I round the corner, head up the isle, honestly not really caring that most everyone is paying attention to my entrance, then, just as I start to head for my destination bench, I fall off the side of my shoe! Seriously! You know that sneaky little ankle bend that creeps up on you out of nowhere, ya that one! So there I am experiencing the side tilt, I grab the bench, which I am sure saved my face, a quickly (not so gracefully) sit down. I instantly look up with an expression of oh crap,on my face, red cheeks (love being a whity), followed by a smile, to see the cute little boy at the sacrament table, he gives a little returning smurk! What can you do but smile back. Then I sit, look up at the stand, knowing that everyone just saw me nearly faceplant into my bench, wouldn't you know it, we have visitors! Yep, President Deaton (Stake President) and President Sanft. I was in a rare mood on Sunday, I know I should have been completly mortified, I was only slightly embarassed. Not sure if this is do to the fact that falling or nearly faceplanting has become a part of my everyday life.

Backlog:
About a month ago I was chatting with the student workers, had my feet crossed, I uncross then as I turn to return to my fantastic cubbicle, when I nearly die! My heel snagged my hoes on the way back. Now I had a giant hole in my nylons. See photo. The day was saved by turning the hoes around, giant gaping hole under foot.
