Rock Chip Guy

Okay so you want more...fine! So it has been a while since some random person has included me in their random life...so this Saturday when it happened again it reminded me who I am.

I went to the car wash to get the Ruby Red washed. She's been feeling a little neglected. And that's where it happened.
The rock chip guy noticed I had a couple of chip in my window, he wanted to repair them. Great go ahead. Then he noticed my plates asked me where I live in UT, I said Ogden. Go O-town! He proceeded to tell me that he had gone to UVSC in Provo. Then he asked if I moved with my family....hmmm..tricky answer...so he got the truth...I was married now I am divorced...so no. Maybe a little awkward for him, but he asked. I thought the conversation was over because of the silence. I was wrong. After he finished the repair, he came in to call the insurance company. And suddenly we were the best of friends. He told me his wife had him on a diet, even though she needed to be on one too, but then clarified that it was okay since she was 8 months pregnant. Then he tells me that she has cravings that she tells him about. He continues...like the other night they are in bed (I wasn't sure I should be hearing about what goes on in their bed but...) and he hears this rustling sound from her side. He asks her what she is doing and she says, "Nothing". So he was forced to turn on the light. She had hidden a bag of chocolate under the bed and was trying to sneak a piece. You would think that would be plenty for a stranger to know about you...but it didn't stop their. I also learned: his sister got married moved to AZ, his parents then moved from CA to AZ to be around the grandkids, and then he moved to AZ. It's a nice place. He is from Pismo Beach. Oh! And he is having a little girl, this is his first.
Not only are the chips in my life filled, I have a new friend.

Moral of the story: Perfect strangers can be friends too.
