General RS Broadcast - 2012

As a part of my calling as the Stake Relief Society Secretary, we put on a event for the sisters before the  annual broadcast. The broadcast is watched by all the women of the church and happens once a year. We had a great team of sisters help us with the decorating. It turned out beautifully. My friend Ashleigh took some amazing photos for us, you can see them on her blog. Thanks again Ashleigh for sharing your talents!

Service Day

This year I made it to our Ward Service Day at the LDS Temple. We were assigned to pull the weeds on the grounds. I had a great time pulling weeds with the members of my ward. It always feels good to provide service, it allows me a moment to step outside my own thoughts, worries, and deadlines. I should find more ways to serve!

Arizona Restaurant Week - 2012

Kimberlee and I carried out our restaurant week tradition. This year we went to Modern Steak. It was delicious!

Piestewa Peak Hike

I decided to go on a Saturday hike at Piestewa Peak.  It felt so go reaching the top. The hike is a steady incline with rock steps. It took me a couple of hours to make up and back. Here a picture from the top.
